Hawaii is known paradise and a very popular place for vacations. We stayed in Oahu also known as the “The Gathering Place”, the third largest of the Hawaiian Islands. It offers countless tourist attractions and activities; from beaches and sightseeing to historic grounds. Make sure to plan your trip ahead of time and enjoy every moment what this island has to offer.
Hawaiian words we learn during our stay:
Aloha – means hello, love or goodbye
Mahalo – means thank you
Ohana – means family (if you love Disney, probably you heard it from Lilo & Stitch)
Ono – means delicious
Lanai – means balcony or patio
WHAT TO DO IN HAWAII
BEACHES
Hanauma Bay – one of the most popular tourist destinations on the island.
Ko’olina – is a manmade lagoons and provides abundance of activities for active families.
Ala Moana Beach Park – it is man-made and was created by the owner of the Dillingham Dredging Company. It is also a free public park located between Waikiki and downtown Honolulu.
Sunset Beach – is on the North shore of Oahu. The water is flat as a lake in the summer and known for big waves during winter season, making conditions suitable only for the most experienced surfers.
