Las Vegas is an internationally renowned major resort city known primarily for gambling, shopping, fine dining and nightlife and is the leading financial, commercial, and cultural center for Southern Nevada. The city bills itself as The Entertainment Capital of the World, and is famous for its mega casino–hotels and associated entertainment.
One of my favorite stops on my road trip across the United States, I found Las Vegas had so much more to offer than I had originally expected. Whether you are planning for a stud or bachelor’s party, honeymoon, get together with friends or tie-a-knot – there’s a little something for everyone in this desert oasis.
What to Do in Las Vegas
Visit the Casinos
It’s a given that you must visit a casino while in Las Vegas but you don’t have to gamble. Many of the hotels have great shopping and art exhibits inside. Just to get an idea, the Paris boasts the Eiffel Tower – a perfect spot for those who are planning to propose and offers a great view of the Las Vegas strip. Bellagio has the famed water show (which you can watch at the top of Eiffel Tower). MGM Grand has lions and also features the famous boxer Manny Pacquiao’s boxing ring. The Venetian that transport you to the canals and waterways of Venice, Italy.
Visit A Show
we are not allowed to take picture inside the theater but my friend managed to get a stolen shot.
Vegas just wouldn’t be Vegas without seeing some incredible live entertainment. From big time entertainers like Chris Angel, magic shows, stand-up comedy and spectaculars gymnasts, there’s something sure to please you and your gal pals. One of the highlights of my weekend was having the opportunity to see Cirque Du Soleil’s KA. The acrobatics, humor, live music and audience involvement go above and beyond every time.
